Representative Cases:

Obtained a significant arbitral award against the Republic of Kazakhstan. The arbitration, prosecuted in Stockholm through the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce, involved the Republic of Kazakhstan's illegal expropriation of the rights to develop an oil field in Kazakhstan. The arbitral award was the first one ever obtained under the bilateral investment treaty between the United States and Kazakhstan. As no formal discovery was permitted in the arbitration, Mr. Camp used his intelligence contacts to obtain the facts and documents necessary to win the arbitration. Likewise, following receipt of the award, Mr. Camp used his intelligence contacts to facilitate payment of the award by Kazakhstan

Successfully defended a number of multibillion dollar legal malpractice lawsuits brought by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation following the failures of various savings and loans in Texas and Colorado. Prosecuted and defended a number of other multi-million dollar lawsuits in jurisdictions across the country

Defended the head of a prominent Washington, D.C., law firm who was a director of the National Bank of Washington and was sued in an action filed by the Department of Justice on behalf of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation

Defended a Washington, D.C., patent law firm against malpractice claims arising from the failure to disclose the "best mode" of performing an electrical invention

Defended a law firm and its current and former partners against malpractice claims arising from the failure of a large credit union

Defended a law firm against malpractice claims asserted in Texas arising from its representation of the executor of a large estate

Prosecuted an insurance subrogation/ third-party claim against a major law firm on claims arising from a class action suit brought against the law firm's client on the basis of alleged violations of ERISA taken on the advice of such counsel

Prosecuted an insurance fraud case against a law firm that collected twice from two insurance companies for the same malpractice claim made against the firm

Prosecuted a breach of contract and fiduciary duty action on behalf of a London based, top-ten United Nations supplier
